PhilCeCNet will hold its 18th Knowledge Exchange Conference (KEC18) on eCenters this 19-21 July 2023 at the Newtown Plaza Hotel in Baguio City with the theme “Digital Inclusion & Transformation For All: People, Potentials and Partnerships on Advanced Technologies and Innovations.” eCenters were established primarily to provide Internet access to the public or to connect and link the community to cyberspace.
This there (3) days conference heralds important milestones in the KEC history: Return to face-to-face conferencing since KEC14 then forced fully online during COVID-19 pandemic; Launch a Digital Inclusion and Transformation Roadmap 2023-2028; Mint PhilCeCNet’s LiTCoin; and Begin the Philippine Community eCenter Network Call for Papers for KEC19 and Journal publication.
ICT4D and Public Internet Access advocates including Local Chief Executives, Knowledge Managers/Workers, and eCenter stakeholders in the country such as FITS Centers, Tech4ED Centers, Digital Transformation Centers, Community eCenters in general, are all enjoined to this annual gathering to espouse networking, share best practices on eCenter operations, services and applications, unveil ICT trends and updates, and showcase various accomplishments.
